This live training is designed for Career Services staff who have Manage Employers and/or Manage Job Postings permissions and who are responsible for reviewing employer requests and jobs. Maybe you’re brand new to Handshake. Maybe you have some experience but just want to be 100% sure you’ve mastered the new job-based approval process. Either way, everyone is welcome!
In this interactive training, we’ll guide you step-by-step through the process of configuring your job-based approval settings and you’ll practice running through employer request reviews faster than ever before. You’ll learn how to:
- Set default permissions for approved employers
- Configure auto-approvals so that your Pending queue only presents the jobs and employers you want/need to review
- Identify new employers and optionally save a view so they’re the first and only thing you see
- Approve or decline jobs, employers, or both at once
- Manage work-study rights, approve employers proactively, and master many more similar best practices
