This course will provide the guidance you need to configure settings that determine how you want your employers to interact with you on the platform. 

You will cover:

  • importing your employer contact file
  • managing employer contacts
  • approving employers
  • interview setup (optional)
  • on-campus employer setup (optional)
  • mid-implementation checklist

This section is best done with deep conversation and alignment with your employer team. This is a time to discuss if you will be using Handshake to duplicate processes you already have in use or an opportunity to explore new workflows. 
*Pro Tip: do some "spring cleaning" with your employer contacts. Consider only importing contacts who have actively engaged with you for 1-2 years. 

Please discuss any timeline adjustments with your Relationship Manager to ensure they can support you accordingly.
